winemaker's notes:

This wine is a blend of old and new Shiraz vines scourced from the Barossa's Valley Floor, complementing the different flavours which are sourced from individual vineyard's. The age of the vines range from 120, 70, 50 and younger vine parcels. They are hand selected from low yielding, minimally irrigated vineyards with exceptional soil and characteristics.

This wine is a classic example of honest traditional Barossa Shiraz. Ripe, rich plummy and dark cherry fruit with earthy tones and hints of spice, it displays fine toasty oak tannins resulting in a medium to full-bodied wine with an exquisite soft dry finish.

critical acclaim:

"Deep colour; medium-bodied, but is rich and generous in flavour, the tannins and oak supporting the perfectly ripened plum and blackberry fruit."

94 Points

James Halliday

"Youthful purple color. Exotically perfumed, expansive bouquet of blackberry, Asian spices, dried flowers and smoky minerals. Sappy dark berry flavors show a liqueur-like quality but are enlivened by nervy minerality and firmed by silky tannins. An initially subtle vanilla element gains strength with air, adding sweetness to the long, juicy finish. Leaves a zesty, spicy quality behind."

Kosher wine
Kosher
A Kosher wine begins like every other - as grapes on a vine. Once they reach the winery for crushing, the wine is under strict rabbinal supervision.
Screw Cap wine
Screw Cap
Many studies report and winemakers agree that screw caps protect wine better and preserve its flavor more effectively than cork. More importantly, screw caps eliminate cork taint caused by TCA, a compound which develops in a small percentage of corks and ruins the taste of wine.
Green wine
